Workrail Terms and Conditions

1. Company Information

Workrail is operated by Aviatolabs FZ-LLC ("Workrail", "we", "our", or "us"), a Free Zone Limited Liability Company licensed by Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ).

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for professional software engineers and other technical users.

You must be at least 18 years old to create and use an account.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for your account credentials, the accuracy of your account information, and activity performed through your account.

You may download a copy of your Workrail data or close your account through Settings. Account closure is permanent, removes Workrail account data, and cancels any active subscription through our billing provider, subject to records we must retain by law.

4. Acceptable Use and Your Content

You retain ownership of content you provide. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, transmit, and create service outputs from that content only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the Service.

You must have the right and authority to submit repository, employer, client, project, and other third-party information. Do not submit secrets, source code, regulated data, or confidential information you are not permitted to process in Workrail.

• Do not violate applicable laws, contracts, intellectual property rights, or confidentiality duties.
• Do not attempt unauthorized access, evade limits, reverse engineer protected parts of the Service, distribute malware or spam, or disrupt reliability or security.

5. Plans, Billing, Cancellation, and Refunds

Free access is $0 and currently includes one eligible setup import and one Impact Snapshot, subject to the repository, historical import, AI cost, and operational limits shown in the product. After the included allowance is used, Free access is read-only: existing data remains available to read, export, and delete, while state-changing product operations are disabled.

Pro currently costs US$29 per month or US$290 per year. The final price, billing interval, currency, and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout and control if they differ from this page.

Pro subscriptions renew automatically for the selected monthly or annual interval until canceled. Our billing provider charges the payment method at purchase and at each renewal. You authorize those recurring charges.

An active Pro subscription enables ongoing writes and sync, additional projects and entries, and other Pro capabilities shown in the product. Usage, fair-use, abuse-prevention, historical import, and safety limits may still apply.

You may cancel through the billing portal. Pro access continues until the end of the paid billing period, then the account returns to Free read-only access. Cancellation does not delete your existing data.

Refund requests are reviewed case-by-case at [email protected]. This refund policy does not limit any mandatory consumer or statutory rights that apply to you.

6. Data, Repository Metadata, and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Standard Workrail sync is metadata-oriented and is designed not to ingest source file contents, full diffs, patches, or repository snapshots. Optional GitHub context is limited as described in the Privacy Policy and product documentation.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by AVIATOLABS FZ-LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of the Service to you.

8. AI-Generated Features

Workrail may use third-party AI providers to generate summaries, evidence organization, review drafts, and suggestions. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances, and you are responsible for reviewing it before relying on or sharing it.

AI output is not legal, employment, financial, or professional advice; it does not make employment decisions and does not guarantee career, review, hiring, or business outcomes.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service depends on third parties, including authentication providers, GitHub and the optional GitHub CLI, AI routing and model providers, Polar for billing, PostHog for limited product analytics, Sentry for error monitoring, and hosting and database providers.

Their services are governed by their own terms and policies. We configure and select providers with care, but we do not control or guarantee their availability, security, policy changes, or independent actions.

10. Service Changes, Suspension, and Termination

We may update, limit, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, non-payment, material breach, abuse, or protection of users or the Service.

Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to export existing data, unless doing so would create security or legal risk.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or loss-free operation, or that any generated output will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aviatolabs FZ-LLC and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, or data.

Our aggregate liability arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of the fees you paid Workrail in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US$100. This limit does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.

13. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify Aviatolabs FZ-LLC against third-party claims arising from content you submit, your unlawful or unauthorized use of the Service, or your material breach of these Terms.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable laws of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

The courts of Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer right to bring a claim elsewhere. Before filing a claim, please contact [email protected] so we can try to resolve it informally.

15. General Terms

Neither party is responsible for delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganization, financing, sale, or transfer of the Service.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement about the Service unless a separate written agreement applies.

16. Changes and Contact

We may update these Terms. We will update the version and dates and provide additional notice when required for a material change. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
